How does your dog walking service work?
We start with a quick sit down with you and your dog to understand your and your pet's needs better, and to understand your dog's behaviour. We then chat about the type of walk needed, times, dates, solo, group, etc. After that, hopefully, we have a lifelong new friend.
What are the main worries owners have about trusting someone new with their dog?
One of the main concerns dog owners may have is the safety and protection of their dog. Rest assured, we are fully DBS checked and insured, first aid trained, we use crash-proof crates, and we also use GPS tagging to ensure complete peace of mind.
When can my dog be walked on its own or as part of a group?
The team here at Tailmates will do everything we can to accommodate you. We recognise that some dogs need to be walked on their own for safety reasons. Just let us know and we can take care of your loved pet!
Can I change my plans / walk?
If you would like to change your plan, just let us know at least 24 hours before the walk is scheduled, no problem.
How easy is it to book a walk?

How do payments work?
Payments are super easy, 50% upfront and the other 50% after the walk. We can take cash, transfer and soon card payments. We tailor everything to suit your needs, if you would like to book sessions in bulk or just single walks, that's entirely upto you
What makes Tailmates different from other dog walking services?
We have grown up around dogs and have a genuine love for dogs and a passion for what we do.
What areas of Stockport do you cover?
We cover the Stockport area, SK3, SK4, SK5, SK7 and SK8, but are happy to discuss further afield if needed.
